About Us

Kilbrien Round was to be the novel imprint of new independent Irish book publisher and media producer, West Waterford Press Ltd. But, to be honest, the press is just so small we decided we didn't need different imprints for different projects. We've left this website here for anyone who might have heard the name - but we're not using it.West Waterford Press Ltd will, in time, publish it all. Novels, poetry and short story collections, perhaps even memoirs, screenplays and recipes! But it will do it all under its own name - beginning with an anthology of waterfords scheduled for release in August of 2026. Check out the waterfordrhyme website for more information.

Our Work

In time, West Waterford Press will indeed pursue high art and high artists. Kilbrien Round was going to be what we called our novel imprint, and an early limited edition of The Aoife Effect was published under this business name, but all those copies are sold, and a second edition of The Aoife Effect is to be published by West Waterford Press under its own name.Meanwhile, all eyes are on Duanaire - collected waterfords. Out now, and taking the world by storm. Edited by Kevin MacAlan and featuring the work of more than ninety poets from all over the globe.
