Our Team
We have a small but passionate team providing administrative support and encouragement for our authors and our readers alike. Proud to be working for an independent publisher in Ireland, with Irish writers, and focusing on books set in Ireland.
Our editor, Kevin MacAlan, lives in West Waterford. He has thirty years experience writing for print and film, and in that time has been mentored by some prestigious storytellers, including FE Smith, Syd Field, Robert McKee, and more recently Niamh Campbell. He has an MA in Creative Writing, but considers his law degree to have taught him just as much about ‘story’.
Kevin is a founding member of West Waterford Arts Group, he is an award-winning filmmaker, a prizewinning poet, a published photographer, and has contributed to innumerable small press publications.
Among his influences Kevin lists Blake Morrison, Billy O’Callaghan, Colm Tóibín, and Niamh Campbell (to whom he is particularly grateful for her valued input on elements of his work with Eamonn Cooney’s The Aoife Effect).
